Mastering Q & A

WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO MY MASTERS?
The artist(s).  We work on a for-hire basis.  This means that at the end of the entire process, you retain ownership of the rights to your recording.  Upon payment of your bill, you are free to publish, reproduce or sell your mix/master without our consent.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ISRC CODES OF THE SONGS?
The artist(s). You can find information and submission details online at www.riaa.com. ISRC Codes should be submitted to the mastering engineer by e-mail, mastering@tonicroomstudios.com, or faxed to (208)338-8435.

WHAT ABOUT MAKING CHANGES TO THE MASTER?
The first mastered files we send you are Version 1. We ask that you listen to the masters, over the next week, on several different systems (car, home stereo, iPod, etc.). Send your detailed changes to mastering@tonicroomstudios.com.
