The Tonic Room Recording and Mastering Studios is a unique and comfortable audio production studio located between downtown Boise and the airport. The 2,500 square foot facility houses a recording studio with a control room, main tracking room, two isolation rooms, lounge with internet access, kitchen, instrument room, and a mastering studio.  We are a high definition ProTools studio with classic analog gear (Neve, SSL, API) and a large selection of microphones. The studio also has a wide variety of the latest generation of ProTools plug-ins which provides our clients with a high level of creativity and fidelity.
Tracking rooms have floated wood floors and variable acoustics. The entire perimeter of the main room and isolation room is rigged to support broadband acoustic panels. Studio engineers can quickly and easily change the room acoustics from a high reverberant space to a tight room in a matter of minutes. Headphone monitoring is provided through a unique network of digital personal mixers. Performers are able to easily and quickly create custom headphone mixes, including effects, while tracking. As musicians, we understand the difference between a good take and a great take is often the ability to hear everything just right.
